We start our summary with an offer that is exclusive to Bettingpro and CheltenhamFestival.net readers!
TUESDAY
Hurricane Fly will be considered to be banker material by many ahead of the 2012 Champion Hurdle and it would take a brave man to bet against Willie Mullins' stable star.
The Arkle is going to be a hot race although many feel that Sprinter Sacre will destroy his rivals based on a fantastic performance at Newbury last Friday, especially as Barry Geraghty claimed that this is the best horse he has ever ridden! If you fancy him to outclass Al Ferof, Cue Card and Peddlers Cross, then Bet Victor have the stand out odds.
She has been steadily backed from odds against in the past few weeks and the best price about Quevega winning yet another Mares’ Hurdle is the 4/6 with Coral. It might not seem like much of a price, although it is hard to see what beats the Willie Mullins charge.
WEDNESDAY
Sizing Europe @ 11/10 with bet365 Some firms are actually offering odds-on about Sizing Europe who beat Master Minded and Big Zeb twelve months ago to claim the Queen Mother Champion Chase. The Henry de Bromhead trained charge looks even better and bet365 will probably be cutting their 11/10 soon about a horse that clearly loves Cheltenham.
THURSDAY
Some firms are as short as 2/5 about Big Buck’s winning a fourth World Hurdle, although Paddy Power are showing bravery with their 8/13 about the Paul Nicholls-trained horse, despite the Oscar Whisky camp bullish about their chances. It would be a big surprise if the hose is beaten on 15 March.
FRIDAY
Ladbrokes are one of several bookmakers that weren’t too impressed by Long Run’s performance at Newbury last week and the Magic Sign have lengthened last year’s winner to 5/2, making him joint favourite with Kauto Star. Every other bookie thinks that the former has the best chance of winning.
