Legendary jockey Ruby Walsh has been giving Paddy Power his tips on the 2014 Cheltenham Festival.

If you’re looking for a tip than one man who knows more than most about Cleeve Hill is Festival legend Ruby Walsh. Here are his best Festival tips and the Kildare man even has a Lucky 15 that pays out more than £4k for a £1-a-line stake if they all oblige.

Share them and become an office here (or just keep to yourself and be greedy – we know you don’t really like Julie in accounts anyway).

Ruby's Gold Cup verdict

Ruby's-Picks

Friday, March 14th

2.40 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle (3m)

Kings Palace has been rock solid in England. I love Briar Hill, he’s tough, he jumps well, he’s bred to stay. He’s in good form,
we’re very happy with him, I think he has an outstanding chance. The drier the ground, the better chance he has.

3.20 Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup Steeple Chase (3m 2 1/2f)

The race lacks a front runner so it might lack a bit of pace. It that’s the case it will suit Silviniaco Conti but if it turns into a
slog, it will suit Bobs Worth. I don’t think there is a winner outside of the top 3 of the betting, maybe First Lieutenant is the
next best.

Ruby’s Festival Double

Quevega in the Mares Hurdle (Tuesday, 4pm) and Briar Hill in the Albert Bartlett (Friday, 2.40pm). Quevega because she’s my banker  and Briar Hill because I think of all our novices he has track form.
