The dates for the 2019 Cheltenham Festival have been announced and racing fans can look forward to four days of explosive action.

When is Cheltenham 2019?

This year's Cheltenham Festival takes place between Tuesday March 12th and Friday March 15th. The first race, the Supreme Novices' Hurdle starts at 1:30pm.

When is the 2019 Gold Cup?

The Gold Cup takes place on the final day of Cheltenham, the 15th of March 2019. The race itself will start at 3:30pm. 

2019 Cheltenham Festival Schedule

Sport doesn't get much better than the Cheltenham Festival. The entire nation will embrace jumps racing for four days during the second week of March, as legends are made, records are broken and the best equine athletes etch their names into the annals of sporting history.

Many of the horses who starred in the 2018 edition of the Cheltenham Festival will return to Prestbury Park next year, along with a whole host of newcomers looking to thrust their names into the headlines.
Here are the dates for the 2019 Cheltenham Festival and a little look at which races punters can look forward to on each of the four days.
