Four reasons to place your bets with Unibet and a top tip in the Christmas Hurdle

A wonderful view of the runners jumping a hurdle at Kempton.

Boxing Day is always a massive day in the racing calendar for punters and trainers, but also for Unibet, who sponsor the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton. If you've never placed your horse racing bets with Unibet before, here are four reasons why they should be your bookmaker of choice this weekend!

Welcome Offer

To celebrate the start of the new jumps racing season, Unibet launched this fantastic welcome offer for new customers. Sign up today and get your money back if your first bet of up to £40 loses!

Not only will Unibet give you a free bet of up to £40 to replace your lost bet, but you'll also receive a £10 bet to use in Unibet's casino. A brilliant offer not to be missed!

Best Odds Guaranteed

Along with the Unibet Christmas Hurdle, there are plenty of other fantastic races for punters to sink their teeth into on Boxing Day. Not only are Unibet offering top odds on hot-favourite Buveur D'Air and King George market leader Might Bite, but they also guarantee punters the best possible odds on all British and Irish racing!

ITV Racing Offer

Whenever ITV Racing hits out screen, Unibet boosts the number of paid places available on one selected race. On Boxing Day, it will be the Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase at Wetherby and users will have four paid places to play with at 1/4 of the odds.

Cheltenham Festival Ticket Giveaway

Unibet is proud to be sponsoring a series of races leading up to the Cheltenham Festival. Unibet is giving away 4 x VIP packages for the Cheltenham Festival and the top 500 players will all win a share of £25,000!

To enter, you must take part in our Horse Racing Betting Championship (10th November 2018 – 7th January 2018) and every successful bet moves you up the leaderboard. That’s not all! We are offering double points for all winning bets on our sponsored races during the promotional period.

Sunday's sponsored race is the Unibet Christmas Hurdle, where a stellar field has been entered to take part. If you're wondering which horse to back and enter the Cheltenham Festival Ticket Giveaway, here's the Racing Tips selection.

To be perfectly honest, I can't see Buveur D'Air being beaten. However, at odds of 1/5, there's no value there, so I'll have to take the favourite on. Global Citizen and If The Cap Fits are both horses I really like, but both could be being lined up for a big handicap hurdle during the spring. VERDANA BLUE, on the other hand, will have either the Champion Hurdle or the Mares' Hurdle on her agenda and she should be the one who pushes Buveur D'Air hardest.

I'm sure Nicky Henderson will have prepared to put his mare away around this time of the year, but while the ground remains favourably good, she might as well take her chance. Verdana Blue saw off If The Cap Fits and We Have A Dream fairly comfortably at the start of the season and ran a great race to finish fourth under 11-11 in the Greatwood. The flat track at Kempton will suit her much more than Cheltenham and she has the quality to give her all-conquering stablemate something to think about.

Sign up with Unibet today, place your first bet of up to £40 on Verdana Blue in the Unibet Christmas Hurdle and get your money back if he loses!
