  • Brian Healy Editor
    Brian Healy

Having developed an keen interest in horse racing at a young age when his dad let him have 50p e/w on Ben Nevis in the 1980 Grand National, Brian’s dreams of a career as a National Hunt jockey were dashed by a losing battle with weight in his teenage years, but he still worked with some top yards in the jumping game in the late-80s before returning home to Scotland to ‘get a proper job’.

Since then, Brian has continued to nurture his love of horse racing and the National Hunt game in particular; and even managed a long stint working at Ladbrokes to help pay his way through university.

Away from his keyboard and the horse racing world, Brian can be found cheering on his beloved Glasgow Celtic, pounding the fairways around one of Scotland’s many golf courses, or listening to some vague prog-rock bands no-one has heard of!
