2020 Ryanair Tips

We take an in-depth look at this Grade One Chase and highlight 2020 Ryanair Chase tips in our latest Cheltenham Festival Tips video below.

Before we reach the main event on day three of the Cheltenham Festival, the Stayers’ Hurdle, attendees have another fantastic Grade One to take in. The Ryanair Chase has steadily grown in stature since it’s an introduction in 2005. So much so, that the prize money is almost on par with the four Championship race, leading to many regarding this Grade One as the “fifth major” at the Festival.

Last year’s Ryanair will live long in the memory for many fans for all who were lucky enough to see it. Bryony Frost grabbed the headlines, as she guided Paul Nicholls’ Frodon to victory, becoming the first female jockey to ride a Grade One winner at Cheltenham. The reception they received last season almost tore the roof off Prestbury Park, and Frodon will return to Cheltenham to try and retain his title next month.

Frodon currently sits third in the betting for the Ryanair. Last year’s Northern Trust Handicap winner, A Plus Tard leads the betting with Paddy Power, with Melling Chase winner Min separating the top two in the market. Riders Onthe Storm will bolster the British contingent, with several dangerous entrants stacked up behind A Plus Tard in the market.

Daryl Carter has already covered the Ryanair Chase with a written preview over on Racing Tips. For CheltenhamFestival.net, Daryl has recorded this fantastic video, where he looks back on the history of the race and outlines his best 2020 Ryanair tips. Have a listen…
