One of the most traditional and popular races at the Cheltenham Festival, amateur riders will be given the chance to shine in the Foxhunter Chase. Entrants will have to tackle the same three-and-a-quarter-mile trip that the Gold Cup combatants had just battled for supremacy over - a stern test for horses who are used to standard hunter chases or point-to-point contests.
There have been many memorable runnings of the Foxhunter Chase, with College Master, Double Silk and On The Fringe returning to the
Cheltenham Festival to successfully defend their crown the year after winning their first Foxhunters.
